On 27 October, Évora hosted an IUFRO international conference, gathering leading forestry researchers. On behalf of the RN21 Integrated Project and CoLAB ForestWISE, Joana Vieira presented “The Portuguese natural resin sector: from resin tapping to the second transformation industry”, showcasing the entire Natural Resin value chain — from tapping to second transformation — and the potential of this renewable resource for the bioeconomy, with international reach.
