The Resinae® – Pinaster Natural Resin brand promotes the valorisation of Maritime Pine (Pinus pinaster) natural resin. By doing so, it reinforces the sustainability, traceability, and quality of this strategic resource for the Portuguese bioeconomy. Developed within the scope of the RN21 Integrated Project – Innovation in the Natural Resin Value Chain to Strengthen the National Bioeconomy, Resinae® certifies products derived from natural resin obtained from Pinus pinaster (of European origin). The brand is certified under the internationally recognised FSC® and PEFC certification systems, ensuring that the resin originates from sustainably managed forests. Through this commitment, Resinae® supports industrial innovation, promotes the responsible use of renewable natural resources, and strengthens Portugal’s position as a global reference in sustainable natural resin.
