Pampilhosa da Serra, 28 January 2025 (Green Savers) – Green Savers reported, with the Lusa news agency, on the conclusions of Resinae Ignite, the RN21 Integrated Project meeting in Pampilhosa da Serra, where it was argued that Portugal could double the value generated by the resin sector.
A project built on three pillars
With an investment of more than 26 million euros and a PRR grant of 17.5 million euros, the RN21 Integrated Project, coordinated by CoLAB ForestWISE, brings together 37 entities and rests on three pillars: boosting national Natural Resin production, strengthening the sustainability of the processing industry and positively differentiating resin and its derivatives.
Resinae®, officially presented in Pampilhosa da Serra as a quality symbol for the sector, falls under this last pillar.
