4 June 2025 (Agroportal) – Agroportal shared the new PINUS TV video, from Centro PINUS, on the new generation of maritime pines being developed under the RN21 Integrated Project through a genetic improvement programme focused on resin production.
PINUS TV shows the grafting
The video follows the grafting carried out by an experienced APFCAN technician, a technique rarely used on maritime pine and different from that used on stone pine. The refrigerated boxes holding the branches to be grafted reach the field after a complex logistics operation coordinated by Centro PINUS.
The work is part of the RN21 Integrated Project and aims to make resin tapping more efficient, innovative and attractive.
