8 October 2024 (Agricultura e Mar) – Agricultura e Mar announced the second workshop of the RN21 Integrated Project, “We Create the Future with Natural Resin”, scheduled for 21 October at 2:30 pm at the Centro Social e Paroquial de S. Pedro in Cantanhede, with free admission upon registration.
From food preservation to fashion
The programme included a talk by António Mendes Ferreira, from United Resins, on turning resin into finished products, thematic stations dedicated to the food (TECMEAT), automotive (SIMOLDES), textile (TINTEX) and footwear (CTCP) industries, and a presentation by Anabela Carvalho, from CeNTI, on sustainable innovation with functional materials.
A consortium for the whole value chain
Coordinated by CoLAB ForestWISE, RN21 is the first project to bring together the entire Natural Resin value chain in Portugal, with 37 entities, an investment of more than 26 million euros and a grant of 17.5 million euros.
