Resinae® – A brand to differentiate and add value to Maritime Pine Natural Resin

22 May 2025 (Voz do Campo) – Voz do Campo published an article by the CoLAB ForestWISE team on Resinae®, the brand created under the RN21 Integrated Project to differentiate and add value to maritime pine Natural Resin.

A system of differentiation and traceability

Resinae® – Pinaster Natural Resin is a distinctive and innovative system for adding value to Natural Resin, promoting the quality, traceability and sustainability of resin-derived products from Pinus pinaster of European origin, sourced from sustainably managed forests certified under internationally recognised schemes.

Confidence for industry and consumers

The brand provides for labelling that identifies the percentage of Natural Resin incorporated in products (10%, 40%, 70% or 100%), strengthening transparency, the confidence of consumers and business partners, and the competitiveness of the national resin sector.
