Pampilhosa da Serra, 22 January 2025 (Diário de Coimbra) – Diário de Coimbra previewed Resinae Ignite, an RN21 Integrated Project event scheduled for the afternoon of 27 January at the Monsenhor Nunes Pereira Building in Pampilhosa da Serra.
A programme for the whole value chain
The opening session was to feature Carlos Fonseca (CoLAB ForestWISE), Jorge Custódio, Mayor of Pampilhosa da Serra, and Jorge Brito, executive secretary of the Coimbra Region Intermunicipal Community. The programme included talks on sustainable production practices, the role of the resin tapper, quality along the chain, new applications, the market and global competitiveness, and resin tapping in Spain, followed by a final debate.
The launch of Resinae®
The event marks the official launch of the Resinae® brand, designed to add value to Pinus pinaster Natural Resin as a symbol of quality, traceability and environmental commitment. The brand was presented by Jani Pires and Juliana Salvação, from CoLAB ForestWISE.
