Pampilhosa da Serra, January 2025 (Municipality of Pampilhosa da Serra) – The Municipality of Pampilhosa da Serra highlighted Resinae Ignite, the RN21 Integrated Project meeting hosted in the municipality and dedicated to analysing the Natural Resin value chain.
A municipality with a forest tradition
Resinae Ignite took place at the Monsenhor Nunes Pereira Building, in an afternoon that brought experts from across the sector to Pampilhosa da Serra. The municipality stresses the importance of once again valuing an activity rooted in the territory and of involving local producers, who continue to play an active role in the region’s development.
Forest, jobs and the future
Resin tapping was presented as an opportunity to generate income from pine forests, promote active forest management and anchor economic activity in the interior, goals the RN21 Integrated Project has been pursuing with the consortium partners.
