Oleiros, 24 November 2023 (Green Savers) – Green Savers reported, with information from the Lusa news agency, that the resin tapping viability tests in a pine stand in Isna, Oleiros, beat the national average in their very first campaign.

A local team on the ground

The trial is monitored by a forestry engineer and two resin tappers from the parish of Isna and also aims to improve extraction techniques. With 26.6 million euros in PRR funding, according to the article, the RN21 Integrated Project is testing resin tapping at several sites across the country.
