7 July 2026 (SAPO) – SAPO republished the Agroportal article on how Natural Resin derivatives are gaining value in textiles, footwear, automotive and functional packaging, based on the results achieved by CeNTI in the RN21 Integrated Project.
An alternative to fossil raw materials
Rosin derivatives, a component of pine resin, are being applied in biodegradable gas-barrier packaging, fibres and knits, footwear soles and adhesives, and car interior parts, where they replace up to 30% of synthetic resins.
