Cantanhede, 24 October 2024 (Mira Online) – Mira Online reported on the workshop “We Create the Future with Natural Resin”, which brought companies and experts together in Cantanhede on 21 October to learn about the latest applications of Natural Resin.

Organised by CoLAB ForestWISE within the RN21 Integrated Project, the event focused on innovations for the automotive, textile, footwear and food sectors. Adérito Machado, councillor of Cantanhede Municipality, highlighted the municipality’s commitment to the bioeconomy.
A value chain reinventing itself
RN21 covers the entire value chain, from forest production to industrial processing and the end consumer, and brings together 37 partners, including companies, research institutions, universities and territorial entities, with the aim of developing sustainable technologies, products and processes that reduce dependence on fossil raw materials.
