Cantanhede, 23 October 2024 (Municipality of Cantanhede) – The Municipality of Cantanhede highlighted the workshop “We Create the Future with Natural Resin”, held on 21 October at the Centro Social e Paroquial de S. Pedro, within the RN21 Integrated Project.
A municipality committed to the bioeconomy
Adérito Machado, councillor responsible for Natural Resources and Agricultural and Forest Development, considered that hosting the event is an opportunity for Cantanhede to stand out in sustainable innovation and strengthen the municipality’s commitment to the bioeconomy.
Innovation in four sectors
Organised by CoLAB ForestWISE, the workshop presented applications of Natural Resin in the automotive, textile, footwear and food sectors. RN21 brings together 37 partners and seeks to revitalise the entire Natural Resin value chain, reducing dependence on fossil-based raw materials.
