From 5 to 9 October 2026, Coimbra hosted the 10th National Forestry Congress, organised by the Portuguese Society of Forest Sciences under the theme “Forest, people and territory: sustainable connections”. The RN21 Integrated Project was represented by nine contributions from consortium partners, ranging from genetic improvement and resin tapping techniques to pine forest profitability, certification and communication.
In the session on forests and well-being, CoLAB ForestWISE presented the results of the RN21 communication campaign: half of the Portuguese population knows what Natural Resin is, and 85% of those who came into contact with the campaign recognise a positive impact on their knowledge or perception.
